Louis Vuitton Fashion Branding Editorial Broadsheet
For this project, I created an editorial design broadsheet focused on Louis Vuitton fashion branding. Through extensive research, I explored the historical and contemporary significance of the Louis Vuitton brand, delving into its iconic status in the fashion industry and its evolution over time. This endeavour provided me with a deeper understanding of the critical role research plays in the design process, from concept development to final execution.
The design of the broadsheet features a striking combination of black and white photography, punctuated by vibrant pops of pink. This choice of colour scheme was inspired by Louis Vuitton's classic aesthetic, which often balances timeless elegance with bold, modern elements. The use of black and white imagery underscores the brand's sophistication and heritage, while the pink accents add a contemporary twist, highlighting the brand's ability to innovate and stay relevant.
To effectively present this creative vision, I opted for a trifold broadsheet format. This layout allows for a comprehensive yet engaging presentation of the content, guiding the viewer through a curated visual and textual narrative. Each fold reveals a different aspect of Louis Vuitton's branding journey, from its inception to its current global influence.
This project not only honed my design skills but also emphasised the importance of thorough research. By understanding the brand's history, market positioning, and visual language, I was able to create a design that authentically represents Louis Vuitton's identity while also showcasing my own creative interpretation. The process highlighted that successful design is rooted in a deep understanding of the subject matter, ensuring that the final product is both visually compelling and contextually accurate.
